Mr. Chew Ne Weng is the Group Managing Director/ President at QES Group Berhad (“QES”).
Mr Chew graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 1987.
Mr. Chew's professional journey began in 1987 at Cairnhill Precision Private Limited in Singapore, where he started his career as an Engineer. This early experience provided him with valuable insights and practical knowledge in the engineering sector. In 1991, he founded QES Group of Companies and ventured into manufacturing semiconductors equipment in 2001. He has since served as QES Group’s Managing Director/ President.
In his pivotal role, Mr. Chew is entrusted with the overall strategic direction and management of QES. He plays a crucial part in shaping the company's policies on technical and financial operations, developing business plans for operating units, ensuring the execution of quality management system, driving research and development as an essential impetus of QES’ growth and spearheading QES environment, social and governance goals. Under his leadership and guidance, QES has achieved remarkable growth and success, solidifying its position as a leading player in the manufacturing industry.
Mr Chew has accumulated over 35 years of experience in the engineering industry making him a reputable, well-merited, and notable figure in the industry.
