This award recognises innovative and captivating booth designs that seamlessly combine creativity, functionality, and immersive brand storytelling. From concept to execution, it honours booths that elevate event presence and meaningfully engage audiences.
Eligibility
- This award is only for SEMICON SEA 2026 RAW Space Exhibitors of booth size 36sqm and above
- Applicants who apply within the submission period (17 March – 10 April)

- Onsite Assessment at SEMICON SEA 2026 for Finalist 05 May Afternoon

1. Innovation & Originality (40% of total score)
Assess how creatively and inventively an exhibitor has conceptualized and executed their booth beyond standard exhibition practices. This criterion recognizes booths that introduce fresh ideas, original design thinking, and inventive approaches that enhance both functionality and visitor experience, while remaining relevant to the brand and event context.
- Concept: Distinctive and original booth idea
- Design: Innovative use of space and form
- Engagement: Creative and meaningful visitor interaction
- Storytelling: Immersive and original brand narrative
- Functionality: Practical innovation improving experience
- Boldness: Confident, well‑executed creative risks
2. Aesthetic Appeal (30% of total score)
Evaluates the overall visual quality and design coherence of the booth. This criterion recognizes booths that are visually striking, well‑composed, and thoughtfully designed to attract attention, enhance brand perception, and create an inviting environment for visitors.

- Form: Effective colour and composition
- Finish: High‑quality craftsmanship

- Graphics: Clear and engaging visuals

3. Sustainability Initiatives (20% of total score)
Assess how thoughtfully and responsibly sustainability principles are integrated into the booth’s design, construction, operation, and post‑event outcomes. This criterion recognizes exhibitors who demonstrate a genuine commitment to environmental responsibility, resource efficiency, and sustainable practices, without compromising design quality, functionality, or visitor experiences.
- Sustainable Materials: Use of recyclable, reusable, or responsibly sourced materials.
- Resource Efficiency: Efforts to minimise energy use, waste, and overall resource consumption.
- Waste Reduction & Reusability: Modular design, reuse strategies, or clear post‑event repurposing plans.
- Environmental Impact: Actions taken to reduce carbon footprint and environmental harm.
- Innovation: Creative sustainability solutions beyond standard practices.
- Communication & Accountability: Clear and genuine communication of sustainability efforts.
4. Safety Aspect (10% of total score)
Evaluates how effectively the booth is designed, constructed, and operated to ensure the safety and well‑being of visitors, staff, and surrounding exhibitors. This criterion recognizes booths that demonstrate a strong commitment to safety through compliant design, hazard prevention, and responsible on‑site practices, without compromising visitor experience or design intent.
- Structural Integrity: Booth construction is stable, secure, and compliant with venue and regulatory requirements.
- Fire & Electrical Safety: Proper use of fire‑retardant materials, safe electrical installations, and unobstructed access to fire points.
- Visitor & Staff Safety: Safe circulation, clear walkways, non‑slip surfaces, and elimination of trip or collision hazards.
- Operational Risk Management: Safe installation, dismantling, and on‑site operations with appropriate supervision and controls.
- Compliance & Documentation: Adherence to safety guidelines, approvals, and required permits or certifications.
- Emergency Readiness: Clear emergency access, exits, and awareness of emergency procedures.
Winners Announcement
- Finalists will be shortlisted for onsite assessment during SEMICON SEA 2026
- Top 3 Winners will be identified and awarded during CHIPFEST @ SEMICON SEA

- Scaled Floor Plan (Top View) - Booth dimensions, zoning, circulation flow clearly shown
- Elevation Drawings (Front + Side minimum) - Maximum height, branding placement, finishes indicated
- 3D Rendered Perspectives (Min. 2–3 views) - Visitor eye‑level and wide‑angle views recommended
- High-res Company Logo - 300dpi in .ai format

Terms and Conditions
- Please note that after the submission deadline, all details on the entry submission form, including booth design and drawings and so on, are FINAL and cannot be changed and / or transferred to another party.
- Should your entry be shortlisted, your entry details found on the online registration site will be reflected on the awards website, the screen on CHIPFEST @ SEMICON SEA, awards (presented on CHIPFEST @ SEMICON SEA, should you win) and any other awards-related materials
- Finalists need to be present at CHIPFEST @ SEMICON SEA (06 May Evening) in order to receive their awards in case they win.
