Mr. Edmund Yuen is the founder of Ideal Vision Integration Sdn Bhd, a company based in Penang that provides machine vision, integration, and software solutions to various industries.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Hons) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2009, Edmund spent over a decade working in the engineering sector, more specifically, in the machine vision and semiconductor industry. Well equipped with machine vision and engineering knowledge, Edmund brought his strong networking skills into building relationships and partnerships at business development level, by founding Ideal Vision Integration Sdn Bhd in year 2013. Understands that the demand of machine vision systems is rapidly growing, he is determined to make Ideal Vision Integration emerge as one of the major players of the machine vision solution providers in Malaysia.
Edmund is passionate about technological innovations that fulfill market needs as well as continuous business success. A visionary in his field, the company has been growing steadily for the past 10 years. In less than a decade, Edmund turned Ideal Vision Integration into a global business by expanding its customer base and business territory across Asia, Europe, and the United States in a multitude of industries. These include the semiconductor, electronics, medical, and automotive industries. He also successfully led Ideal Vision Integration to receive prestigious awards and recognitions such as MSC Malaysia Status recognition, Golden Bull Award 2019, SOBA Best Innovation Award 2019-Platinum, 2020 SEBA Most innovative SME Award 2020. He was also the recipient of SEBA Young Entrepreneur Award in the year 2020.
