Presentation Title

GenAI – the next S-curve for the semiconductor industry

Abstract

GenAI could create an additional ~ 35-70% of value above what other AI and analytics can unlock. The compute demand has been rising rapidly as model complexity is growing faster than device performance. McKinsey has developed 3 adoption scenarios to forecast GenAI demand in 2030, and based on that, we took a 3-step approach to estimate the number of new fabs required in 2030.
