Mr. Columba McGarvey
Vice President, Operations Dexcom Malaysia
Columba joined Dexcom over 2 years ago as Vice President of Operations with responsibility for the start-up of their new manufacturing facility in Penang. Scheduled to go into commercial production in 2023 the Penang project represents a more than US$500 million investment for Dexcom and is expected to create over 2,500 new jobs in the coming few years.
Columba has over 20 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry and prior to joining Dexcom, held Management positions at both Abbott and AbbVie across Manufacturing and Engineering in Ireland and Puerto Rico.
Columba has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway in Ireland.
