Mr. Christian Grimberg

Christian Grimberg is the General Manager Pricing & Product Management Malaysia and SEA2 at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia. He has held this role since July 2021.
In this role, he oversees the development and implementation of pricing and product management strategies for Mercedes-Benz Cars in Malaysia and Southeast Asia 2 (SEA2). Christian is responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor pricing, managing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product offerings are aligned with market demand and local regulations.
Christian has extensive experience in the automotive industry, having held various positions at Mercedes-Benz. Prior to his current role, he served as Market Management Sales Hub SEA II in Stuttgart for 5 years where his key responsibilities include sales planning and steering, competitor-oriented pricing, preparation and evaluation of sales measures, and a wide range of steering and planning activities.
From 2013 to 2016, Christian held the position of Product Management for E-Class and CKD at Mercedes-Benz Cars Region Overseas in Stuttgart, Germany where he focused on aligning Overseas-specific market requirements with HQ product management and Research & Development, planning, configuration, and lifecycle management of CKD product offering together with the markets. He has also gained international experience through job exchange and projects in Vietnam and Malaysia.
Christian holds a Master of Arts degree in Automotive Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Nuertingen-Geislingen University in Germany. During his studies, he focused on automotive business and management. In addition to his academic achievements, he completed an internship in International Procurement Services at Mercedes-Benz South Africa.
Prior to pursuing his studies, Christian Grimberg completed a three-year vocational training program as an Automobile Sales Management Assistant at DaimlerChrysler AG, Mercedes-Benz retail in Cologne/Leverkusen, Germany. It was during this training that Christian developed his passion for the automotive industry, which became the foundation of his future career.
