Presentation Title
How SiC MOSFET can power up your EV Car Design?
Presentation Abstract
In recent years, electric vehicles have emerged as a leading contender to traditional gasoline-powered cars for both environmental and economic reasons. However, in order to power these electric vehicles, efficient and reliable power electronics are necessary. The use of Silicon Carbide (SiC) MOSFETs in electric vehicle designs can provide a number of benefits, including higher efficiency, faster switching speeds, and improved thermal management. This discussion explores the advantages and challenges of using SiC MOSFETs in power electronics of electric vehicle and highlights the ways in which their implementation can improve the overall performance and reliability of electric vehicles. We also discuss the potential impact of SiC MOSFETs on the overall electric vehicle designs, and examine best practices for incorporating this technology into new and existing designs.
