Ms. Sudiana Muhamad Nawati
Deputy Director, Transportation Technology Division Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA)
Sudiana is the Deputy Director of the Transportation Technology Division based in MIDA Kuala Lumpur and assumed her post effective October 2021.
Her roles include attracting high-value investment projects into Malaysia's automotive sector, assessing companies for Government tax incentives, and spearheading domestic and overseas missions to attract DDI and FDI.
Additionally, she coordinates briefings/dialogues with relevant automotive industry associations to identify the industry's barriers, future directions, and development and encourage industries' potential growth in Malaysia.
Sudiana has 16 years of experience with MIDA serving in various divisions, including manufacturing and services. She has been involved in multiple Automotive Industry initiatives in Malaysia.
She has also been directly involved in formulating strategic policies and incentives to catalyze the spur of the EV industry and its related ecosystem in Malaysia.
