Dr. Avinash SRINIVASAN
Senior Manager and lead of the Electron Optics Manufacturing Design Engineering, KLA Corporation
Dr. Avinash Srinivasan currently is a Senior Manager and lead of the Electron Optics Manufacturing Design Engineering team at KLA Corporation Singapore. Avinash also drives new product introduction (NPI) as the operations project owner of various programs in the eBeam division at KLA, addressing complex technical challenges to enable product transition into manufacturing.
Avinash holds a doctorate degree in Electron Optics from the National University of Singapore where he also worked as a Senior Research Fellow, publishing in many peer-reviewed journals. He also graduated distinction from VIT University, India, earning a degree in B.Tech – Electronics and Instrumentation.
Avinash is passionate about teaching and the propagation of STEM education in schools and universities through simple hands-on experiments and novel teaching methods. He is currently a guest lecturer for M.Sc. courses at the National University of Singapore and oversees different industrial internships/projects that are in collaboration with KLA. Avinash also leads various engagements with the Singapore Science Center and Singapore University of Technology and Design as part of KLA Foundation’s effort to promote STEM education in various schools in Singapore.
Avinash was the recipient of the inaugural SEMICON Southeast Asia 2023 Emerging Young Leader Award.
