Dr. Freddy TAN Kheng Suan

Dr. Freddy Tan Kheng Suan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Power Electronics. He also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE). He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), UK.
Dr. Freddy’s research focuses on photovoltaic converters and wide bandgap devices. In addition to his academic work, he has served as a consultant on photovoltaic converter and wide bandgap semiconductor projects for various industries.
