Mr. Afzanil Md Anuar
Deputy Director Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA)
Afzanil Md Anuar is the Deputy Director of the Green Technology Division of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). His roles are to promote, evaluate and advise on green technology investments from foreign and domestic. For the past 15 years of service in MIDA, Afzanil has experience serving in the Electrical and Electronics industry division from 2010 – 2017 and headed MIDA's Osaka office from 2018-2022. Prior to MIDA, Afzanil also served in several foreign private and public organizations covering the electronics manufacturing and services sector. On the education side, he has a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Automation & Robotics from the Malaysian France Institute (MFI).

Presentation Abstract
As the government's principal investment promotion agency, MIDA plays an important role in supporting Malaysia’s commitment towards a net zero emission nation by 2050 by promoting green technology projects and services. MIDA also continues to intensify its efforts to assist both local and foreign investors by formulating policies, incentives and providing facilities as well as support services to encourage more investment into the green technology industry to further strengthen Malaysia’s green ecosystem.
