S Lawanya is a Principal Specialist in Digital Manufacturing at GlobalFoundries. She drives innovation and operational excellence in semiconductor manufacturing. She is a 2020 Honors graduate in Chemical Engineering from National University of Singapore, Lawanya began her career as Lithography Process Engineer before transitioning into strategic roles shaping digital transformation. She holds Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is part of GF Singapore’s leadership development program. Recognized for her leadership and advocacy, Lawanya received the 2024 SEMI SEA Emerging Young Leader Award, GlobalFoundries Women’s Recognition Award for DEIB contributions, and was a featured speaker at 2023 Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA) Women’s Forum. Her STEM journey was highlighted in Singapore’s national media to inspire women in engineering. Passionate about inclusion, Lawanya chaired GF Singapore’s inaugural Women’s Conference and now serves as the youngest Chairperson of Singapore GlobalWomen, an employee resource group fostering inclusive environments for women in GF, while mentoring aspiring engineers through SSIA.
