Jia Wen is a staff analyst at Infineon Technologies, in the Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions team. Prior to her current role, she was on the International Graduate Program (IGP), Infineon’s flagship talent program involving different job rotations across Infineon global sites. In the strategy team, she works on corporate strategy projects, innovation ecosystem building and partnership development. Notable projects include regional growth expansion in Asia Pacific, environmental sustainability, and regional market strategy projects, which have resulted in positive business outcomes.
Jia Wen excels in working in multi-functional and multicultural teams. Her ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds and areas of expertise has been a significant asset in her career. She has been part of the organizing team for Infineon’s OktoberTech Asia Pacific, an annual technology conference that brings together customers, ecosystem partners, and suppliers for insightful discussions and technology showcase. Her passion for people, technology innovation, and ecosystem development are evident in her role, as she participates actively in the local partners ecosystem, industry networking events, and innovation conferences.
Jia Wen is also passionate and deeply committed to the innovation ecosystem in Singapore and beyond. She has been a key part of Infineon’s Co-Innovation (COIN) Program and has been instrumental in Infineon’s partnerships with accelerators, government agencies and other large corporates to jointly nurture startups in the deep-tech space. At Infineon’s flagship innovation conference, Jia Wen has successfully moderated panels that deal with the impact of AI and Climate Change. This conference is attended by top executives from Infineon as well as from key customers and partners.
During her time at Infineon, Jia Wen has displayed extraordinary leadership skills. For example, she was a key part of Infineon’s Sustainability Strategy development. In this project she influenced key decision makers across the organisation towards the adoption of climate goals and made compelling presentations all the way till the Infineon Board.
Jia Wen’s exemplary behaviour at work has earned her the respect of her peers. She is known for her ability to work well under pressure and her dedication to her work. With her global experiences, having worked in different countries like Germany and Vietnam, she brings a unique perspective to her work. Jia Wen has demonstrated strong leadership qualities. Her ability to adapt to changes and dynamic work environments has been a key factor in her success.
Jia Wen's curiosity and interest in technological developments serve her well in her role. She is always eager to learn and explore new ideas. As a strong believer in continuous learning, she recently completed courses which include AI (Artificial Intelligence) Innovation, IP (Intellectual Property) management and commercialization; Digital Project and Product Management; and Trisector Strategy and Innovation for Transformation.
She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering and second major in Innovation & Design Program. Fascinated by science, technology innovation, and start-ups, she strives to being part of the change, to improve the way we live through design and innovations.
