Junaida Abu Bakar is Director of Manufacturing Engineering with >27 years of technical and management experience in Semiconductor and Renewable Energy industry. She is responsible for driving the overall engineering execution, managing operation performance deliverables and develop culture of innovation.
She holds different leadership roles in Advanced Miro Devices (AMD), Intel, First Solar prior to Joining LAM Research International. Involved in driving strategic execution to the overall Factory Operation Yield, New Product Introduction/Integration, Global Process Control System, Data Analytics and Lean Culture from Assembly Test manufacturing.
Many years of people management experience and transforming the team into innovating and scalable organization. Passionate in developing young generation in STEM, technical women leaders and was one of the leads in Penang Young Entrepreneurs (YE) for >15 years.
Mother of 4 children with 3 of them are pursuing their degree in Engineering.
