Job Title: Welding Engineer

Develop the welding process of products according to the requirements of drawings.
Analysis of technical problems in FA and mass production welding (DFM).
Followed up and improved the technical problems in the manufacturing process and dealt with them.
Production of welding technology and operation documents, including PW, WPS, PQR and WI.
Monitored and analyses welding process parameters found problems and dealt with them timely.
Provide suggestions for welding fixture design.
Assisted the quality department in dealing with customer complaints, cause analysis, rework plan and improvement plan, etc.
Introduction of new welding technology/process/equipment.
Assist in the promotion of special projects within the company or department.
Shall assist HOD to ensure that the ALPHA Environmental Management System is established, documented, implemented, managed, and maintained according to requirements of standards ISO 14001:2015 as well as customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and its effectiveness is continually improved through regular reviews.

Bachelor’s degree in Material, Mechanical engineering, Metallurgy, and related fields.
Have good knowledge of advance welding technologies such as Orbital welding, Laser welding or EBW Welding process.
At least 2 to 3 years of related working experience in Factory & Process in welding integration.
Certified by AWS (American Welding society) as a CWE (certified Welding Engineer).
Have project management skills, FMEA and risk assessment, and Business Process Re- engineering.
Possesses a 'hands-on' approach towards work, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as a team player in a global setup.
