Job Title: Product Compliance Specialist (PCS)

Job Focus:

  • Execute product compliance testing by working with internal and external customers. Coordinates samples from Avery Dennison Smartrac locations and collaborate with testing facilities to create methods as needed.
  • Review and assess global regulatory requirements for food, pharma and logistic and deploys requirements to ADS.
  • Communicate with raw material/component/subcontractor suppliers to obtain current compliance data related to products.
  • Drive suppliers for compliance with ADS requirements.
  • Participate in compliance management system project: CSS, ADPS, and Chemical Module.
  • Participate in new product development processes and provide compliance guidance to product development teams.
  • Provide technical assistance to cross functional groups such as R&D, product Management, marketing, customer service, procurement and external customers regarding compliance issues and matter.
  • Conduct training of internal and external stakeholders on compliance topics as needed.

 Qualification needed: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a preferred major in Chemical and Sciences and/or Material Engineering or Management system.
  • Demonstrated experience in assuring product compliance with regulatory requirements, and knowledge of product development and manufacturing.
  • Food and Pharma industry experience is preferred.
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external contacts.
  • Experience working with Google Suite, and Google workplace and experience in handling highly confidential matters.
