Job Title: General Manager

Job Content/Duties:

  • Need to be cost and quality awareness for all daily activity involved.
  • Develops and implements strategic business plans to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
  • Establish departmental organization structure, workflow and procedure.
  • Oversee all departmental activities to achieve improving performance with key emphasis on productivity and quality.
  • Forecast and maintain the function group budget for both short- and long-term business plans.
  • Evaluate subordinates and department performance.
  • Responsible for identifying departmental training needs.
  • To ensure all departmental staff are following company rules and regulations.
  • To liaise with and support all related departments for all matters to achieve the company’s goal.
  • To lead and manage operation activities and customized project.
  • To provide company goals and directions, career path, support and guidelines to all departmental staff.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years working experience in a manufacturing environment/engineering field.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to coordinate with all levels of staff.
  • Able to travel locally or outstation if necessary.
  • Good analytical skills & able to work independently.
  • Possess leadership, planning & organization skills and able to motivate staff.
  • Must be mature, committed to work, able to work under pressure and minimum supervision.
  • Willing to commence a job based at HQ- Shah Alam for min. 6 months until the new plant is set up in Penang-Batu Kawan area.
