Job Title: Software Test Engineer

ViTrox is a design and manufacturing company that powers machine vision solutions for semiconductor and electronics packaging companies. From digitising manufacturing processes to scanning product defects, our products perform reliably at higher speeds and with greater precision. 

We are looking for a subject matter expert in embedded system product and software tests to be part of the ViTrox experience and play a critical role in the product development lifecycle.

Job Descriptions:

  • Understand the product requirements and features and determine product testing parameters
  • Design and document product test plans
  • Create test cases based on customers' use cases and other potential scenarios
  • Develop automated test programs or scripts and enhance the standard test environment
  • Monitor and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the development and test processes

Job Requirement:

  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering (Software, Computer, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent
  • Experience in machine vision, embedded system product test or software development
  • Must be experienced in software testing
  • Experienced in test automation program / software development, develop test plan and test case
  • Experience in Multithreading Programming, Hardware Communication peripheral interface programming (UART, USB, PCI / PCIe, Ethernet, etc.) and Programming Languages (C, C++, C#, Python and other scripting languages) will be an added advantage
