Job Position Summary:

This position leads the project management of one or multiple facilities and/or equipment and tooling
placement, maintenance, repair, and improvement/expansion projects. This includes partnering in
Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) programs in accordance with relevant regulations, agency
standards and fiscal considerations as well as including lean strategies to assist in achieving business goals and strategic directives.

• Ensures the development, implementation, and control of facilities and maintenance processes,

• Forecasts facilities and maintenance improvements and planned costs in support of the
Sales and Operations Financial Planning (SOFP) process.
• Ensures that Continuous Improvement (CI)/Lean concepts and techniques are utilized (the way
we do and improve our work) throughout the maintenance processes.
• Ensures the development and deployment of a safe and healthy work environment including
appropriate training in safety practices, professional licenses, building code standards and
permits.
• Coordinates purchasing processes to manage budget related to site management and maintenance.
• Including vendor/contract reviews, evaluating job bids/quotes, etc.
• Establishes goals and targets that support the business strategies and commitments

Business Partner: 
• Participates on site(s) leadership team(s) with a focus on site(s) footprint and facility plans
• Collaborates with Directors of Operations, Directors of Supply Chain, HS&E,
Engineering (Maintenance) and Production Teams to maintain building standards and
achieve project goals.
• Assists in developing continuous improvement plans to support the site(s).
• Collaborates with leaders to implement SOFP, Capital Plan, and Succession Planning for site(s)
• Leads coordination with local agencies regarding the facilities (fire dept, etc) as well as
contracting companies for electrical or gas, etc.

Center of Expertise (COE)
• Industry Certifications/licenses (Electrical, Hydraulics, Mechanical., etc)
• Multi-building management of manufacturing buildings
• Lean Silver trained
• Understanding of the Watlow Business System
• Enriching Lives Workshop (constructive culture)

Education, Experience and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or enrolled in a continuing education program
• Technical certification preferred
• Project management experience
• Leadership training
• 7-10 years of lean leadership experience preferred
