Job Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the planning organization and to develop and continuously optimize the master production schedule to meet customer backlog and sales forecast, plan workflow for each
department, monitor resources, material and capacity availability. Influences the optimization of the
master production schedule with clear ties to order management leadership to ensure seamless customer delivery.

Skills, Abilities and Mastery (Responsibility Matrix):

Delivery:

• Responsible for the planning load to operations production floor
• Integrator for all functional alignment to execution of demand plan i.e. Customer Interface, Customer Service, Engineering, Purchasing, Tooling, Manufacturing and Logistics.
• Establish processes to effectively communicate changes in supply and demand to the purchasing
team to enable prioritization and alignment across value streams, sites, business units, and
functions to fulfill customer needs.
• Provides risk mitigation and management planning, problem solving and issue resolution, process
enhancement recommendations, and adherence to policies, procedures and systems.
• Manufacturing Site Demand Management Plan for Build, Ship and Inventory
• Material Readiness
• Liaison between customer and the operations scheduling team
• SME/Planning Lead:
• Leadership expertise with planners
• Connect functional leaders to drive one goal without direct reporting structure in all order
management flow i.e. customer service, purchasing and delivery.
• 24 Hour sales order acknowledgement
• Control and optimize customer lead times
• Development of plan to meet customer needs
• Execute to finished goods and consignment levels for inventory management
• Responsible for delivery of demand and production plans i.e. sales order and internal demand

Business Partner: 
• Develops strong relationships and provides effective communication, prioritization, and alignment
across value streams, sites, business units, and functions
• Demonstrates capability for engaging with external/internal business partners to provide seamless
linkage of supply chain processes.
• Engaged in Sales and Operating Plan for Financial Planning and Results aligned with cross-functional leadership for customer expectations.
• Strong relationship skills to influence and engage cross-functional leadership without direct reporting structure

• Financial Acumen for Business Making Decisions
• Demonstrates capabilities in material management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), pull
systems, flow, and the implementation of lean concepts
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Relevant certification in APICS (CPIM, CSCP, CFPIM), ISM (CPM, CPSM, CSM), or equivalent
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. Possess exceptional conflict resolution skills and is adept at dealing with situations involving conflict.

Education, Experience and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (5-8 years)
• Technical certification preferred
• Project management experience
• Leadership training

• Ability to fluently speak and write in English is required for this position
• Potential of travel up to 50%
