Job Position Summary:

To support the value stream and provide operational, tactical and general support to the Value Stream Leader and team, accountable to help the team achieve overall results. Provide basic accounting support to the Line of Business as required.

Skills, Abilities and Mastery (Responsibility Matrix):

Services:
• Supports decision making in forecasting and weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting by providing
timely and concise analysis.
• Assists with month-end closing activities.
• Assists with financial audits and compliance.

Delivery:

• Participates in planning, forecasting, improving and measuring Value Stream performance.
• Participates in the Value Stream’s daily, weekly and monthly meetings / gemba walks as a part of the team.
• Provides value stream support including weekly box score reporting, value stream costing, sales /
material margin analysis and operational/profitability analysis
• Actively participates in and contributes to the Sales, Operations and Financial Planning (SOFP)
process.
• Actively engages in lean improvement efforts including: value stream assessments, kaizen events,
projects, Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and problem solving.
• Participates in opportunity decision making including understanding the impact to the organization.
• Analyzes inventory levels and work closely with Supply Chain to reduce landed cost.
• Utilizes value stream cost information to recommend and assist with sourcing decisions.
• Assists with appropriate plans and scenarios to improve growth.
• Actively engages in Value Stream and Line of Business lean improvement efforts, including Value
Stream assessments, kaizen events, projects, RIEs and problem solving.
• Participates in strategy deployment.
