Mr. BC LEE - Board Member

Lee Boon Chun is the Site CEO of X-FAB Sarawak and prefers to be addressed as BC Lee. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with deep expertise in fab operations and foundry business. He also serves as a board member of MSIA (Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association) and SECA (Sarawak Electronics & Supporting Industries Companies Association). In academia, he is a member of the University-Industry Advisory Panel at UNIMAS (Universiti Malaysia Sarawak).

BC Lee started his semiconductor career at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing as an equipment and process engineer. Over the years, he gained experience across several areas of semiconductor manufacturing before becoming CEO of X-FAB Sarawak in 2019. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical and production engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
