Mr. Benjamin TM LIN - Board Member

Benjamin has been with UMC since 2001, bringing over 20 years of experience within the company and 25 years in the semiconductor industry. During his tenure at UMC, he has held a range of leadership roles, starting his career in the Corporate Marketing Division before advancing through FAE, Customer Engineering, and Sales divisions. From 2008 to 2011, he served as the General Manager for UMC Europe Sales, followed by his appointment as Senior Division Director of Customer Engineering at UMCSG until 2022. Since October 2022, Benjamin has taken on the role of Senior FAB Director at 12i_FAB1, a position he continues to hold today.

Benjamin holds a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan.
