Abstract

The success of a company's talent and HR management strategy extends beyond the confines of the HR department. It embodies a collective responsibility that requires all hands on deck and engages various functions across the entire organization. Since the onset of the industrial revolution, semiconductors have played a pivotal role in accelerating economic growth and social mobility through technological applications that enhance productivity and improve the way we live. The increase in adoption of AI in a wide spectrum of technologies has since redefined our industry in unimaginable ways.

Technology is the lifeline of the semiconductor industry, and it is natural that the industry is one of the quickest to adopt the use of AI for various business functions. Within the realm of HR, AI can be integrated to streamline recruitment, training, and talent retention. Smart tools can also be applied to process huge volumes of data to analyze employee statistics that can help improve decision making on workplace conditions, job placements and career planning. The use of AI technologies in transforming HR management is boundless and will be critical in shaping the future talent landscape of the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
