Dr. Thien Nghia NGUYEN
Director General, Authority of Information Technology and Communications Industry, The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), Vietnam
Dr. Nguyen studied information technology and promoted in the same field at the university of Magdeburg Germany. He currently serves as acting general director of ICT industry authority, Ministry of Information and Communication Vietnam. The authority has the mandate, to promote the development of the ICT Industry, through suggesting and implementing policies as well as programs. The ICT industry is one of the fastest growing industry sector Vietnams and has potential to maintain its dynamic for next decade, especially in sub-sector IT services and software. Dr. Nguyen is also an alumni of the Harvard Kenedy School, where he completed the program Senior Executive Fellows in 2018.
