Ala Abunijem leads Go-to-Market and Business Development for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he spearheads strategic initiatives in semiconductor design and manufacturing solutions globally. With over two decades of industry experience, including six years at AWS’s High-Performance Computing (HPC) go-to-market strategy, Ala possesses extensive expertise in assisting semiconductor companies to expedite their chip design workflows and optimize EDA workloads in the cloud.
Prior to AWS, Ala held leadership roles at Intel Corporation, where he drove business development and engineering initiatives within the semiconductor industry. His combination of technical background and business acumen, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management, positions him as a as a thought leader in cloud-based semiconductor design and manufacturing solutions.
