Mr. Andrea TRONZANO
Chairman, European Semiconductor Regions Alliance (ESRA)
Born in Turin, Italy, in 1967, he graduated in accounting and received his university degree from the Higher Institute of Physical Education in Turin. Self-employed, he has been active in politics since 1990. From 2003 to 2006, he was part of the staff of the director general of Arpa Piedmont (regional agency for the environment).
He served as a town councilor in San Gillio (1990–1999), Novalesa (1999–2003), and Turin (2006–2016 and 2021–2024). He has held positions in Anci Piemonte (National Association of Italian Municipalities) as deputy vice president and president of the Sports Commission. Elected to the regional council for the first time in 2018, he is currently Regional Minister for Budget, Finance and Economic Development (including industry, handicrafts, SMEs and cooperative enterprises), Internationalization and Investment Attraction.
