Mr. Markus Christian FREI

Qualified as electromechanical engineer in 1991. Received his Business Bachelor in Electronics and Economics in Switzerland and at the University of Liechtenstein.

30+years' experience in PVD technology in different business fields like Optical Disk, Photovoltaic, Functional Coatings and Semiconductor. 

When he joined Evatec as Senior Product Manager (PM) in 2015, his focus was on the development of sputtering tools for wafer level packaging, where Evatec succeeded in developing the fastest tool with one the best Rc performances on the market with the Hexagon. 

2020 Markus became Product Marketing Manger (PMM) in the business unit Advanced packaging and Semiconductor with focus on wafer level packaging solutions. 

Since 2022 Markus additionally focusses on Product Marketing for Evatec’s Advanced Packaging Panel Level Solutions where Evatec managed to develop to the Market Leader.

Since this year, he has also been responsible for the front-end application.
