PengKoon Hew brings over 25 years of experience in advanced, high-volume manufacturing, specializing in operations transformation through end-to-end automation and analytics. He is passionate about developing engineering solutions across all time horizons and enhancing operational efficiency in cost, quality, and productivity. PengKoon co-led SanDisk Storage Malaysia and Shanghai being accredited as WEF Advanced Industrial 4.0 Lighthouse and WEF Sustainability Lighthouse. Currently, he leads Global Flash Back End Automation & Analytics Development Engineering, driving the next wave of automation and R&D through Malaysia’s first university-within-a-factory initiative. He holds a First-Class Honors Degree in Material Science and Engineering from the National University of Malaysia.
