Governor, Board of Investments (BOI), Philippines
With more than forty (40) years of experience in industrial policy, planning and formulation, preparation and evaluation of project feasibility studies, supervision of projects, investments promotion and marketing and formulation and administration of investment incentives.
Major highlights of stay in BOI, include a stint as Director of the Incentives Department (2001 to 2008) administering the investment incentives to BOI-registered firms as well her stay in the Marketing Department, where she headed the Americas Division and had been instrumental in the promotion of the IT Business Process Outsourcing in early 2000.
Before her recent appointment as a BOI Governor, she served as the head of the BOI’s International Investments Promotion Service, where she assisted potential and existing foreign investors with their plans to do business in the country. Her work included investment consulting; briefing and information support; business matching services; conduct of outbound missions; and assistance in the preparation of the business segment of Presidential/ State Visits, among others.
With her new post, she will continue to work on the country’s investment promotion.
