Andy Pang has more than 10 years’ experience in various aspects of information technology and software development. He joined TIBCO in May 2011 as a solutions consultant for Hong Kong and currently leads TIBCO’s ASEAN presales team in driving adoption of products and technologies. Before joining TIBCO, he managed Syniverse Technologies’ Solutions Engineering team in driving new business revenue.
A determined and results-oriented professional with expertise in digital transformation, data ingestion, and event-driven architecture—and a flair for building and maintaining relationships with customers at all levels and across multiple cultural backgrounds—Andy has guided many leading global players across industries including Financial Services, Logistics, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and Telecommunications.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Engineering, and a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Digital Twins in Manufacturing and Industry
Digital twins are virtual, high-definition models of real things. Fueled by the convergence of connected sensors & IoT, and AI & big data technology, digital twins expand ordinary human vision and insight. They allow us to immerse ourselves in micro, macro and remote environments, access internal conditions that can’t be directly measured, predict the future and extract meaning from blizzards of data and complex systems—in real-time. They provide the level of agility needed to quickly adapt to changing conditions. This session covers technology requirements for digital twins and examples of solutions built on the TIBCO platform for improved designs, predictive maintenance, proactive yield management, advanced process control, remote monitoring and control.
