Glen Brownlie is Vice President and Managing Director for ams OSRAM Malaysia, where the company has 6000 employees developing and manufacturing LED based optical solutions for the automotive, commercial, industrial and medical industries. Having lived in Malaysia for 12 years Glen is passionate about expanding further the ams OSRAM footprint in Penang and Kedah, and growing the pipeline of local technical talent through schools, colleges and universities. Prior to joining OSRAM in 2019 Glen has held several senior operations and engineering management positions in Multinational semiconductor companies in Asia, Europe and the USA, in addition to working in Operations Consultancy for a number of years.
