Mr. Lim Seng Keat

Lim Seng Keat, a dedicated educator and manager at Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, specializing in Microelectronics. With a passion for motivating and nurturing both full-time students and adult learners, he aims to develop the future leaders of the semiconductor industry.

Before joining Singapore Polytechnic, Seng Keat amassed over 25 years of experience in the Semiconductor Foundry sector. He held director-level positions in various domains, including Defect Management, Yield Enhancement, Product Engineering, Process Integration, Metrology, and Technology Development at GlobalFoundries.

Seng Keat continues to stay connect to the industry, with several consultancy collaboration with Industry Partners. He also conducts workshop training at other Institution and Semiconductor Association to share his experience with a wider audience.

Seng Keat holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Microelectronics, from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
