Sustainability Summit: Energy & Emissions | Efficiency | Regulatory & PFAS
Day 3 | Thursday, 7 May 2026 | 09:45 - 17:00
Room @my1-4, Level 1A, MITEC
As semiconductor manufacturing expands rapidly across Southeast Asia, sustainability has moved from a long-term aspiration to an urgent operational and strategic priority. This Sustainability Summit brings together industry leaders, sustainability experts, and policymakers to explore practical, near-term decarbonisation pathways and responsible growth strategies across the region.
The Summit is anchored around three core themes:
Energy & Emissions - Addressing how the regional semiconductor ecosystem can collectively overcome energy constraints, scale renewable energy solutions, and foster a competitive clean energy market, while establishing clear decarbonisation pathways and effective public–private partnership models, collaborating in collaboration with the Semiconductor Climate Consortium (SCC) and the Energy Collaborative (EC).
Efficiency - Highlighting how process optimisation, equipment innovation, and AI-enabled analytics can drive meaningful productivity gains while reducing energy intensity across fabs and supply chains.
Regulatory & PFAS - Covering regulatory compliance, jurisdictional alignment, and critical materials management, while strengthening the industry's overall regulatory positioning. Together, these sessions aim to accelerate knowledge-sharing, foster cross-sector collaboration, and catalyse collective action, positioning Southeast Asia's semiconductor industry as a leader in sustainable, future-ready manufacturing.
